Today after breakfast you’ll Firstly visit The Wind Cave Nature Reserve is part of the Bau Formation, a narrow limestone area covering about 150 square kilometres in Southwest Sarawak. Because limestone is soft and easily worn away by heavy tropical rain, the area is filled with caves. The reserve itself spans 6.16 hectares and includes both the Wind Cave and the surrounding forest.
Nearby is The Fairy Cave, which has the largest cave entrance in the Kuching area and is just a short drive from Wind Cave. Getting there takes some effort—you’ll need to climb around 100 feet of concrete steps, followed by wooden stairs to reach the main chamber. As you enter through a small side passage, you’ll step into a huge space carved by flowing water. The high ceiling, along with the beautiful stalactites, stalagmites, and natural rock columns, make this cave a stunning sight to explore.
