Chardham Yatra is a mystical pilgrimage that take you through four sacred shrines of Uttrakhand . Uttrakhand is located in northern Part of India and known as Devbhoomi (land of gods) . Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath are four famous shrines located in majestic mountains of Uttarakhand. Since ancient time, the importance of the Char Dham as pilgrimage destination has been grown considerably. Char Dham is currently one of the most famous pilgrimage circuits in India among the Hindu pilgrims across the world. This journey is not just about Devotion but also an experience of breathtaking Landscapes, Natural beauty and spiritual Awareness. Every year thousands of tourists visit these holy places in order to get blessing also to mesmerize by the beauty of the Himalaya.
The Very first day of your Char Dham Yatra start by picked up from Delhi Airport / Railway station by our representative or driver of Express India Joruney and he will brief you about the tour program and provide necessary details for a safe journey.
Later all the guidence you will then drive to Barkot with an overnight Journey. En route, you will see Kempty Fall.
After arrival, check in at your Barkot hotel and enjoy the photogenic views. Barkot is an ideal stay for Shri Yamunotri Dham, situated 45 km before the temple, offering panoramic views of the Bandar punch peak.

Early morning after breakfast, you'll drive to Janki Chatti , the starting point for the 6 km trek to Yamunotri . On arrival at Yamunotri , take a holy dip in Surya Kund (Hot spring) and visit Yamunotri temple to take darshan of "Yamuna Ji" at Divya Shila.
The temple, situated about 3,293 meters above sea level , features a silver idol of Goddess Yamuna made of black marble, bedecked with garlands . Yamunotri stands with its enormous mountain peaks, glaciers, and the gushing waters of Yamuna , the second most sacred river of India, originating from here. It is one of the pilgrimage sites in the Chota Char Dham Yatra,Uttarakhand.
Later, trek back to Janki Chatti and drive back to Barkot.

After breakfast, you'll proceed to Gangotri Dham for an excursion tour . Enjoy the picturesque Harsil Valley en route, located on the bank of Bhagirathi River with magnificent views of the Himalayas . Upon arrival at Gangotri, visit Gangotri Mata Temple and perform Puja. According to Hindu mythology , Goddess Ganga, daughter of Lord Brahma , appeared as a waterway to absolve the sins of King Bhagirath's ancestors after his intense penance for centuries. Lord Shiva caught her in his tangled locks to reduce the impact of her fall. She is also known as Bhagirathi at her source. The Gangotri temple , devoted to the Goddess, was built in the mid-18th century by Gorkha Commander Amar Singh Thapa and is perched at a height of 3,042 meters (10,000 feet).
Later, drive back to Uttarkashi, enjoying the photogenic views and breathtaking landscape.

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive to Guptkashi , a renowned spiritual site in Uttarakhand , nestled in the lush green Mandakini river valley . In early summer, when magnolia flowers bloom , the air is filled with their sweet fragrance. Guptkashi , set against the backdrop of high snow-covered peaks like Chaukhamba , is a natural paradise.
Upon arrival, visit the Ardhnarishwar Temple , dedicated to Lord Shiva , where the Pandavas from the Mahabharata legend once searched for the Lord. Another attraction is Manikarnika Kund , where the holy rivers Ganga and Yamuna meet .

Early morning, you'll drive to Sonprayag, from here you need to take a local jeep or Max to reach Gaurikund.Upon arrival in Gaurikund, you will start your Trek towards The Kedarnath Dham , which is long and beautiful man-made trail.
(Approx charges for pony: Rs.2200-3200/ per person Dolly charges INR 10000-15000 per person.)
Alternatively, you can opt for a helicopter ride (subject to tickets). The driver will transfer you to your helipad location (Phata, Guptkashi, Sirsi, etc.) as per the helicopter ticket time. Please inform the driver of the timings mentioned on the ticket. Different air travel services have different locations for their helicopters. The driver will pick you up and drop you off at the hotel.
Advance booking for the helicopter is highly recommended . (You can pre-book your Heli ride from Express India Journey.)
On arrival you will check-in your hotel and camp. After freshen up perform Pooja and Darshan of Shri Kedarnath Temple.

Attend the early morning prayer ceremony at Kedarnath Temple, then trek back to Gaurikund and take a local jeep to Sonprayag. If time permits, visit Triyuginarayan Temple, dedicated to Vishnu and known for its perpetual flame.
Continue to Pipalkoti, famous for its ancient temples and nearby attractions such as the Valley of Flowers, Deoria Tal, Gopinath Temple, Mana Village, the Saraswati River, and Auli, known for its snow-covered peaks and stunning views.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Badrinath. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and freshen up. Visit Tapt Kund, a natural thermal spring with sulphur believed to have healing properties. Proceed to Badrinath Temple.The final sacred shrine of the Char Dham Yatra, housing a self-manifested black Shaligram stone idol of Lord Vishnu.
After performing pooja and prayer, explore the nearby market. According to legend, the temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, who meditated in the Himalayas, with Goddess Lakshmi protecting him as a Badri tree.
Later, drive back to Pipalkoti.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Rishikesh via Srinagar. Rishikesh, known as the Yoga capital of the world, is located in Uttarakhand and the holy river Ganga flows through it.
En route, visit Devprayag, where the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers merge to form the Ganga. It is also a unique pilgrimage site where King Dashrath and Lord Ram performed devotion. The main temple in Rishikesh is Raghunathji Temple, dedicated to Lord Ram.
Check into your hotel upon arrival and freshen up.Latervisit Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, Triveni Ghat temples, and Ashrams.

Post breakfast check-out and drive back to Delhi. On arrival you will be transfer to Railway station or airport in time.
