Chardham Yatra is a mystical pilgrimage that take you through four sacred shrines of Uttrakhand . Uttrakhand is located in northern Part of India and known as Devbhoomi (land of gods) . Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath are four famous shrines located in majestic mountains of Uttarakhand. Since ancient time, the importance of the Char Dham as pilgrimage destination has been grown considerably. Char Dham is currently one of the most famous pilgrimage circuits in India among the Hindu pilgrims across the world. This journey is not just about Devotion but also an experience of breathtaking Landscapes, Natural beauty and spiritual Awareness. Every year thousands of tourists visit these holy places in order to get blessing also to mesmerize by the beauty of the Himalaya.
The Very first day of your Char Dham Yatra start by picked up from Delhi Airport / Railway station by our representative or driver of Express India Joruney and he will brief you about the tour program and provide necessary details for a safe journey.
Later all the guidence you will then drive to Haridwar, known as a holy place for Hindus where the River Ganges exits the Himalayan foothills.
Upon arrival, you'll check-in to your hotel, where the rest of the day is free at leisure.

Start your day at Har-ki-Pauri with a Morning Prayer and a sacred bath in the Ganges during sunrise.
After breakfast at the hotel, check out and drive to Barkot.It is an ideal location for visiting Shri Yamunotri Dham, offering panoramic views of the Bandarpoonch peak. If time permits, visit Kempty Falls, known for its refreshing atmosphere and lush surroundings, and Lakhamandal, an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, popular among Shaivites .
Upon arrival in Barkot , check-in at your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day taking in the photogenic views.

Early morning after breakfast, you'll drive to Janki Chatti , the starting point for the 6 km trek to Yamunotri . On arrival at Yamunotri , take a holy dip in Surya Kund (Hot spring) and visit Yamunotri temple to take darshan of "Yamuna Ji" at Divya Shila.
The temple, situated about 3,293 meters above sea level , features a silver idol of Goddess Yamuna made of black marble, bedecked with garlands . Yamunotri stands with its enormous mountain peaks, glaciers, and the gushing waters of Yamuna , the second most sacred river of India, originating from here. It is one of the pilgrimage sites in the Chota Char Dham Yatra , Uttarakhand.
Later, trek back to Janki Chatti and drive back to Barkot.

After breakfast, check out and drive to Harshil, located on the bank of the Bhagirathi River, offering magnificent views of the Himalayas. Harshil is known for bird watching, with a variety of Himalayan bird species.
Nearby attractions include Dharali, a small hamlet 3 km from Harshil with gorgeous photogenic views; Mukhwas Village, located 1 km from Harshil, it is the winter home of Goddess Gangotri and a popular tourist spot; Sattal, a confluence of seven freshwater lakes, teeming with natural beauty and migratory birds; and Gangnani, situated 26 km before Harshil, known for its hot water springs and picturesque Himalayas. If time allows, visit the Vishwanath Temple, an important and ancient shrine dedicated to Lord Vishvanath, with Lord Shiva as the overseeing deity.

After breakfast, you will proceed to the Gangotri Dham Yatra. Upon arrival at Gangotri, visit the Gangotri Mata Temple and perform Puja. According to Hindu mythology, Goddess Ganga, the daughter of Lord Brahma, appeared as a river to absolve the sins of King Bhagirath's ancestors after his severe penance over several centuries. To reduce the impact of her descent, Lord Shiva captured her in his tangled locks. She is also known as Bhagirathi at her great source.
On the right bank of the Bhagirathi River stands the sanctuary of Gangotri, dedicated to the Goddess. Perched at an altitude of 3042 meters (10,000 feet), it was built in the mid-18th century by a Gorkha commander, Amar Singh Thapa.
Later, drive back to Uttarkashi, enjoying the photogenic views and breathtaking landscapes along the way.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Guptkashi, a well-known spiritual site in Uttarakhand. It is located en-route to Kedarnath, nestled in the lush green Mandakini river valley, which is filled with magnolia flowers (locally known as champak). During the early summer months, when the flowers bloom, the air is sweetly fragrant. Guptkashi is set against the backdrop of high snow-covered peaks like Chaukhamba, making it a natural paradise.
Upon arrival, visit the Ardhnarishwar Temple. According to legend, the Pandavas from the epic Mahabharata were searching for Lord Shiva, who hid in Guptkashi. Consequently, the main temple here is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Another attraction is Manikarnika Kund, where the two holy rivers Ganga and Yamuna meet.

Early morning, you'll drive to Sonprayag, from here you need to take a local jeep or Max to reach Gaurikund.Upon arrival in Gaurikund, you will start your Trek towards The Kedarnath Dham , which is long and beautiful man-made trail.

Alternatively, you can opt for a helicopter ride (subject to tickets). The driver will transfer you to your helipad location (Phata, Guptkashi, Sirsi, etc.) as per the helicopter ticket time. Please inform the driver of the timings mentioned on the ticket. Different air travel services have different locations for their helicopters. The driver will pick you up and drop you off at the hotel.
Advance booking for the helicopter is highly recommended . (You can pre-book your Heli ride from Express India Journey.)
On arrival you will check-in your hotel and camp. After freshen up perform Pooja and Darshan of Shri Kedarnath Temple.

Early in the morning, you can attend the prayer ceremony at Kedarnath Temple. After breakfast, begin your trek back to Gaurikund. Upon arrival in Gaurikund, take a local jeep or Max to reach Sonprayag (3 km, on direct payment basis, approx. 100-200 per person). If time permits, visit Triyuginarayan Temple, an ancient temple dedicated to God Vishnu, where it is believed that Lord Shiva married Goddess Parvati, witnessed by Vishnu. A unique feature of this temple is the perpetual fire burning in front of it, believed to have been burning since the divine marriage.
Later, continue driving to Guptkashi. On arrival, check-in to your hotel and relax.

Post breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Chopta (Tungnath). Chopta isa small region of evergreen forest and Meadows . Tungnath is one of the highest shiva’s temple in the world, which is located in Rudranath district with an altitude of 3,680 ft. It is a part of Panch Kedar of Uttrakhand. The mountain of Tungnath also form the valley between Alaknanda and mandakini River.
On arrival you will check-in your Camp and relax.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Badrinath. Visit the last sacred shrine of the Char Dham Yatra, Badrinath Temple. The idol of Lord Vishnu is a self-manifested black Shaligram stone, discovered by Adi Shankaracharya in the Alaknanda River. After performing pooja and prayer, you can explore the nearby market for items related to the Badrinath temple.
Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and freshen up. Later, visit Tapt Kund, a natural thermal spring located at the entrance of the shrine. Bathing in Tapt Kund is a ritual believed to have healing properties due to its sulphur content, and it is thought to absolve devotees' sins.

Post breakfast you will Start your another small and beautiful Trek to Vasudhara Waterfall . Satopanth glacier lies at the bottom of Vasudhara. Itis 25km fromBadrinath. Another beautiful place is Laxmi van, which is on the way to Satopanth glacier from Vasudhara.

Today morning, after bathing in the Taptkund , visit Shri Badrinath Temple once again for the Brahma Kamal , which is significant for the Pind Dan Shradh of ancestors (Pitru). Post breakfast, you can explore Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Mata Murti Temple, Bhim Kund, and the "Mukh" of the Saraswati River. Later, drive back to Rudraprayag , covering Vishuprayag, Karnaprayag, and Nandprayag en route.
Upon arrival, visit Sangam and Koteshwar Mahadev Temple, then check-in to your hotel. Rudraprayag, named after Lord Shiva's Rudra avatar , is an ancient holy town located at the confluence of the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers .

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive to Rishikesh , stopping at Dhari Devi Temple en-route. This temple is dedicated to Maa Dhari Devi, another form of Goddess Kali, who is considered the guardian deity of Uttarakhand and worshipped as the protector of the Char Dham.
Continue driving to Rishikesh, stop at Devprayag , where the holy rivers Bhagirathi and Alaknanda meet and merge into the Ganges, making it a unique pilgrimage site. It is also believed that King Dashrath and Lord Ram from the epic Ramayana performed devotion here.
Upon arrival in rishikesh, check-in to your hotel and later you can visit Ram Jhula , Laxman Jhula , Triveni Ghat , Temples , and Ashrams.The main temple in Rishikesh is Raghunathji Temple , dedicated to Lord Ram.
