DAYWISE TOUR ITINERARY


    • Upon arrival at Jammu Airport, you will be greeted by a driver or airport representative and transferred to your pre-booked hotel in Jammu. Known as the "City of Temples," Jammu is the winter capital of Jammu & Kashmir and is famous for pashmina shawls and carved walnut woodwork.

      Must-visit sites in Jammu include Akhnoor Fort, located on the Chenab River, Mubarak Mandi Palace, the former royal residence of the Maharaja of Jammu, and Amar Mahal Palace Museum, a French-chateau style museum. Religious sites to visit are Vaishno Devi Temple, a popular Hindu temple of goddess Vaishno built around a cave, Raghunath Temple, a temple with seven shrines, and Mahamaya Temple, a hilltop temple.

    • After breakfast, your tour will continue to Patnitop, a hill station located between Ramban Town and Udhampur city in the Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir. Patnitop is notable for the Naag Mandir, a 600-year-old temple dedicated to the God Naag, which is a major pilgrimage spot during Naag Panchami.

      Key attractions in Patnitop include Nathatop, a famous paragliding destination at an altitude of 2,133 meters, and Sanasar Lake, known as the Aero-Adventure-Sports capital of Jammu. The Patnitop Circular Road, surrounded by trees, offers scenic views and a peaceful environment. Other notable sites include Baglihar Dam, the largest dam in Jammu & Kashmir built on the Chenab River, and Sudh Mahadev, a highly honored Shiva temple located 42 kilometers from Patnitop near the bank of the river Devak.

    • After breakfast and check-out, you will drive to Pahalgam, known as "The Valley of Shepherds," famous for its enchanting beauty, forests, crystal-clear lakes, and bat factory. Upon arrival, you will check in at your hotel and then visit local attractions such as Chandanwari, the starting point of the Amarnath Yatra, Betaab Valley known for its natural beauty, Aaru Valley offering adventure sports and serving as the base camp for Kalahoi Glacier, and Sheshnag Lake, situated on the track leading to the Amarnath cave. Pahalgam is located on National Highway 1A, connecting the valley to the rest of the country. En route, you'll pass saffron fields of Pampore, ruins of Avantipura, and the village of Bijbehara, known as the bread basket of Kashmir.

    • Post breakfast you'll visit Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, is famous for its gardens, lakes, houseboats, Kashmiri handicrafts, and dried fruits. The city is situated on both sides of the Jhelum River. During your city tour, you'll visit the Mughal Gardens of Nishat on the eastern side of Dal Lake, Shalimar Bagh on the bank of Dal Lake, and ChashmeSahi, a Mughal garden known for its layered lawns and fountains. You'll also see the Shankaracharya Temple, a historic hilltop temple, and Pari Mahal, a seven-sloped garden on the Zabarwan Mountain Range. A Shikara ride on Dal Lake, often called the "Jewel in the crown of Kashmir," offers a relaxing experience.

    • After continuing your journey to Gulmarg, known as "Meadow of Flower" and one of India's top ski resorts, you will experience skiing and board the famous Gondola cable car to Apharwat Peak, which offers skiing in winter and trekking or hiking in summer. The Gondola ride is operated by J&K tourism with online and offline advance booking. Other attractions in Gulmarg include the Gulmarg Golf Course at an elevation of 2,650 meters, the Strawberry Farm best visited between May and August, the Drung Waterfall which turns into a frozen cascade in winter, and Wular Lake, the second highest freshwater lake on Haramuk Mountain.

      You will return to your hotel in Srinagar for an overnight stay.

    • After breakfast, you will head to Gurez Valley, surrounded by snow-capped mountains and home to diverse fauna such as the Himalayan brown bear and snow leopard. It is a hidden wonder with untouched landscapes and rustic charm, far from the tourist crowd. The Kishanganga River flows through the valley, which is sometimes opened for tourists due to its sensitive location near the border.

      In the evening, you will return to your hotel in Srinagar.

    • Your day trip will start from Sonmarg via Gagangir. Sonmarg, also known as the Meadow of Gold, is a photogenic town in Kashmir surrounded by snow-capped peaks and known for its breathtaking landscapes and mesmerizing natural beauty. You will have the opportunity to trek to the Thajiwas Glacier, located around 4 kilometers from Sonmarg at an altitude of around 9,000 feet, offering jaw-dropping scenery and majestic peaks.

      In the evening, you will return to your hotel in Srinagar for an overnight stay.

    • After breakfast, you'll drive to Doodhpatri, also known as the "Valley of Milk." This famous hill station in the Budgam district of Kashmir is known for its ice-cold and super clear water from the Shaliganga River. Other tourist attractions include Tangnar, with small valleys and pine and deodar trees, Mujpathri, a small hamlet on the banks of the Shaliganga River, Palmaidan, a place with large stones and a small stream, Diskhal, a meadow on top of a mountain overlooking the Ashtaar glacier, and several other interesting sites like Dophkhal, Sochilpather, and Parihas.

      You will return to your hotel in Srinagar for an overnight stay.
