Khajuraho is located in the district of Chatarpur in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. Because of its great temple with a fusion of Hindu and Jain art, this small city has a significant presence on the world tourism map. UNESCO has designated these temples as a world heritage site. These temples are dedicated to both Hindu and Jain religions, demonstrating the diversity of religions accepted by the Chandela rulers at the time. In the 10th century, the Chandela kingdom was one of the most powerful empires in central India.

Panna National Park in Madhya Pradesh is a kingdom of enchanted wilderness. It is one of India's most popular wildlife attractions. It is not only scenically rich with eye-catching vistas such as indigenous colourful rocks, tranquil waters of the Ken River, the mesmerising Vindhya Ranges, and soothing high waterfalls, but it is also rich in floral and faunal species.

Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival Khajuraho airport or Railway station
Upon arrival from Khajuraho airport / Railway station you will be transfer to your hotel  and later  you will have a half day city tour of Khajuraho. Western Group of Temple: On the main road, beside the path leading to the Matangeshwar Temple is the A.S.I counter where you must purchase a ticket to visit the western group of temples in this complex and the museum on the opposite side. A boundary wall surrounds and protects the temples within this large rectangular complex and there is only one entry point. Here at the Western Group you will see some of the most sensational temples in the world. Eastern Group of Temple: A kilometer towards the east from the western group of Temples is the khajur sagar and the old village of Khajuraho. On one of the paths to the village is a modern whitewashed structure with a large orange - red statue within. The statue is still worshipped but is one of the oldest images to be found in khajuraho.The images is of hanuman, the monkey king who assisted Ram (of the Ramayana) through his travails in exile. Evening enjoy light and sound show at Khajurao temple.  Overnight at hotel. 

Day 2 : Khajuraho - Panna - Khajuraho (50kms/ 2-3hrs one way)
Post breakfast you will have full day excursion of Panna National Park and Rane Fall which is 50kms away from Khajurho. On arrival you will have a jeep safari in Panna National Park. During the jeep safari you will spot many wild animals, flaura and fauna. Later you will will visit Rane water fall. Evening return back to your Khajuraho hotel. 

Day 3 : Khajuraho airport departure
Post breakfast check-out your hotel and later you will be transfer in Khajuraho airport or railway station time for your flight to onwards destination.
